Gal pals: Keira Knightley and Eva Mendes arrive at a press conference this morning in Rome |
Keira wore a demurely-cut retro-style dress in black with multicoloured accents and a textured neckline, paired with cute black suede shoe booties, while Eva went girlie-style in a chiffon flouncy number in black and white graphic pattern teamed with nude patent leather platform heels.
At one point, Eva did a flirty twirl for the cameras, but Keira didn't seem bothered to lose some limelight to her friend.
Later on, the ladies sat for the press conference, laughing genuinely at each other's comments, obviously having fun while they worked.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actress and We Own the Night star were chatting with the audience as part of the fifth International Rome Film Festival at Auditorium Parco Della Musica.

It's somewhat surprising the pair seem to be such good friends in light of the fact that Eva rolled around half-naked with Keira's ex Jamie Dornan when they modelled for Clavin Klein earlier this year.
But it looks like there's no axe to grind between these two, despite Eva playing the part of a temptress luring away Keira's husband in their new film.
In Last Night, Keira plays Joanna, a young woman living in Manhattan who becomes jealous when she meets her husband's gorgeous new colleague, played by Eva..

When he and Eva go on a business trip together, Joanna bumps into a former boyfriend and finds herself also tempted to cheat.
Keira said of the film, which is Iranian-American screenwriter Missy Tadjedin's directorial debut: 'I think everyone can recognize the scenarios that happen within this piece, I think that most people have at least been one person, if not all four, at some point in their life.'
'In most films there are goodies and baddies, what I liked about this script is that it did not take a standpoint, that there is no conclusion,' she said. Print this post
