Well, Lingerie is the most  fashionable term used for women's undergarments. This word was initially derived from the French word 'linge', means washables This was further referred to 'lin', corresponding to washable linen, which was the fabric from which European garments were made, before the introduction of cotton and other fabric. 

Lingerie was further modified to give it a new sexual appeal. Though, this wedding lingerie has always occupied a special place in the wedding preparations for a bride, its demand is increasing as per the modern day improvements done to it.

Bridal lingerie is given special importance as it is supposed to enhance the beauty of the bride to make her look more appealing and attractive among others. In effect, a bride pays equal attention to her lingerie as she pays to her bridal costumes. With the modern day and fashion advancements, there are a number of options for a bride is available to choose from. There are different types of lingerie available in the fashion markets, which the bride can pick as per her own body type and needs. However, it should be kept in mind that apart from looking sensuous, the lingerie should be fitting perfectly and comfortable, that helps them to enhance her body contours and curves.

 Bridal Lingerie for Upper Body

· Baby doll - It is a short, lose, sleeveless, nightgown or negligee, which consists of formed cups with an attached loose fitting skirt. It comes with different lace, ruffles, appliqués, fur, ribbons and bows and along with the spaghetti straps and a matching panty. It is a highly sexy nightwear and is often termed as a shortie nightgown.

· Bustiers - It is a short fitted innerwear, which resembles Basque. It extends only up to the waist or ribs pushing the breasts up and shaping the waist and is ideal to be worn under a low back outfits.

· Camisole - It is tight fitting, sleeveless innerwear and usually covers the entire torso. They are available in different materials such as silk, satin, Lycra, cotton, and nylon etc. They can also be worn with or without brassieres.

· Panties - Though panty is the common underwear for women, it does offer wide variety for the newly weds. The bride can choose from boy shorts to control panties, from normal briefs to high cut briefs, from hipsters to bikinis as per her comfort.

· Thongs - Thong is an undergarment, which consists of a narrow strip which connecting the waist strips. The thin strip just fits between the buttock cheeks of the wearer and they are available in varied shapes, materials and sizes.
