With her killer curves and gorgeous face, it's hard for Salma Hayek to look anything but stunning.

But the actress looked the opposite of stylish today as she stepped out at an event in Qatar.

The Desperado star wore a bizarre greenish-gold dress that looked as if it was made of tinfoil.

Instead of enhancing her hourglass figure, the dress hugged her in all the wrong places, making her look dumpy and shapeless.

The Mexican actress was attending the Opening Night Gala for the 2010 Doha Tribeca Film Festival in Doha.

And perhaps she was just trying to focus on wearing a more modest dress in the conservative country of Qatar.

But with a husband who co-owns the Alexander McQueen fashion label amongst other high-end ranges, the 44-year-old has no excuse to look frumpy.

Thanks to billionaire François-Henri Pinault, Hayek has become a regular at Paris Fashion Week, supporting her husband's labels from the front rows of the shows.

Mr Pinault, 48, is the CEO of retail and luxury clothing firm PPR, the parent company of some of fashion's biggest names, including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Sergio Rossi.

The company also owns 50 per cent of Stella McCartney's label, as well as the McQueen brand.

Hayek and Pinault  were married on Valentine's Day in 2009.

The couple have one child together, four-year-old daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault.
