Angie get your gun! Jolie already looks like a veteran director as she shoots first film

Labels:

You'd never think that this was the first time Angelina Jolie directed a film.

The actress was on set again yesterday in Estergom, Hungary, shooting her Bosnian war epic.

And from the confident way she was guiding and instructing her team, the 35-year-old looked more like a veteran director than an inexperienced first-timer.

Do it like this: Angelina Jolie shows her team how it's done as she directs her first film in Estergom, Hungary
Dressed in a black coat and trousers and with a huge pair of sunglasses on, Jolie seemed to be everywhere at once as she mimicked firing a gun and made expansive arm gestures.

Her first feature film is a love story set against the backdrop of the Bosnian war, and tells the story of a romance between a Bosnian woman and Serbian man.

Leonardo DiCaprio Prowling for Unsuspecting Ladies!

Labels:

Leonardo DiCaprio has found himself a bloody good part to play.

The actor is set to star as a serial killer in a big-screen adaptation of Erik Larson's bestselling nonfiction book The Devil in the White City.

DiCaprio will portray H.H. Holmes, who is believed to have killed as many as 200 people in Chicago during the 1893 World's Fair. The sociopath did his deadly deeds in a hotel that he himself built that later became known as the "murder castle." It was equipped with such devices as a gas chamber, dissecting table and crematorium.

Holmes would place ads in local newspapers to lure unsuspecting female newcomers to the Windy City to his deathtrap.

It's a part that DiCaprio has been very interested in playing for some time. Tom Cruise had actually optioned the rights to the book in 2003 with the intention of portraying Holmes, so DiCaprio decided to develop another project using public domain material. However, he was eventually able to acquire the book's screen rights and now will not only take on Holmes, but produce the movie as well.

Sounds like this flick could be killer.

Ridley Scott’s 2 ‘Alien’ Movies Are Too Expensive, Not Happening

Labels:

Earlier this month, word got out that, for the upcoming 2 “Alien” movies, director Ridley Scott was looking to get Gemma Arterton for the lead. Now, it turns out, he may not be able to do the pics at all.

Scott announced a while back that he was making not one, but two prequels to the legendary “Alien” franchise. In 3D to boot, because he wanted to go for Cameron’s “Avatar” and bring it down.As wonderfully as that may sound (for fans, in particular), it seems Scott has reached too far and 20th Century Fox is none too happy about it, G4 reports.
