Scarlett Johansson as a sexy alien seductress? Who's going to believe that?!
Well, probably everybody, which is why the pouty-lipped thesp is attached to star in the sci-fi thriller Under the Skin, playing a gorgeous E.T. who eats men for breakfast, according to trade reports.
Like, literally.
At some point, though, Johansson's coldly efficient character starts feeling warmer and fuzzier toward her human prey, and ends up battling her own kind for the last word in planetary dominance.
"Taking her point of view throughout, the film presents a unique look at our world through alien eyes," is how FilmNation presented the project to the American Film Market.
Sexy Beast's Jonathan Glazer cowrote the script, based on the Michel Faber novel, and is set to direct the film starting in late spring 2011. Print this post
